Colombia is not simply a country defined by borders. Colombia is a communal pot, strangers risking their lives to save another stranger; it is understanding that things do not belong to those who own them, but to those who need them most.

Colombia is the strength of Chocó, where even when the river washes everything away, people return to plant again; it is the kindness of the Eje Cafetero, cities built by the hands of their own people, where neighbours come together and no one hesitates to lend a hand when someone needs it. It is the joy of Valle del Cauca, turning every difficulty into music and every hardship into dance.

We are the seed that breaks through the cracks in the pavement, the root that finds a way where there seemed to be none. We are a people who fall, dust ourselves off, hold each other’s hands, and rise again.

100% of the profits from this event will be donated to Oxfam Australia – Colombian Earthquake Relief and UNICEF Australia – Colombian Earthquake Emergency Response. Both organisations are already working with local communities and partners, particularly in Chocó and Buenaventura, where communities are facing severe damage and difficult access.
